Job Summary:

Koin is recruiting an Operations Project Manager. This position is responsible for the overall planning, execution, management, and reporting of multiple projects primarily focused on client implementations and launches, although vendor integrations and other projects in the payment and gaming space may be required. This is a customer-centric role that requires handling multiple projects concurrently. You will be working closely with clients and internal stakeholders (Dev/IT, accounting, operations, marketing, others). This role requires experience and expertise in managing strategic customer projects, driving project results, managing complex cross-functional initiatives, and communicating with all levels of the organization. The client launch component also requires in-person client training.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership for client implementation project initiatives, serving as the internal and external project owner, and main point of contract, throughout all phases of the project
  • Communicate effectively on a day-to-day basis with Koin’s clients; partner with clients during the lifecycle of the onboarding program or project
  • Utilize project management tools, methodologies, and best practices
  • Manage the project timeline and ensure all team members keep detailed track of all project hours; manage project roles, identify resource requirements, manage project resources, define project deliverables, and act as a liaison between internal stakeholders and clients
  • Work closely with clients and the Koin team to manage project scope and create client-centric workflows and processes that maximize client outcomes
  • Review project deliverables prior to client review, assess and provide improve recommendations where required; proactively manage client expectations
  • Assist in preparing and delivering clear and concise activity/progress reports to clients, stakeholders, and KOIN leadership; clearly communicate and manage risks
  • Manage the project closing process, conduct post-implementation reviews with clients, lessons learned reviews with internal teams, and work with the Koin leadership team to implement improvement areas
  • Manage multiple projects at any given time while adhering to established deadlines and exceeding client expectations
  • Provide in-person client launch support including client training

Skills / Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5 years’ experience working on implementation projects for strategic/enterprise customers
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and time-management skills
  • Ability to balance competing demands from multiple client projects while remaining structured and organized
  • Experience with requirements-gathering initiatives and writing use cases
  • Experience with project management strategy(phasing strategies, roadmaps, risk mitigation, etc.)
  • Must have knowledge of MS Office Suite, and PM software tools (MS Project, Smartsheet)
  • Organizational and analytical skills, with excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented and organized
  • Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills, especially with C-Level Executives
  • Up to 25% travel per year to deploy Koin solutions onsite, perform client training, and participate in in-person client meetings
  • Registration with the Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB) and/or other gaming jurisdictions in which we operate will be necessary

Bonus Skills / Experience

  • PMP desired but not essential
  • Familiarity with Jira and/or other gaming or banking platforms
  • Knowledge of the gaming and payment industries, regulations, casino operations, and/or slot technical ability

Physical Requirements

  • Sit for prolonged periods at a desk working on a computer
  • Ability to speak effectively and clearly to answer phone calls
  • Use their hands to type, handle, control, and feel objects, tools, or controls
  • Repeat the same motions

Salary

  • $70,000 – $80,000 per year
